The DBD has a light weight basswood body which is heavier sound for metal. A bolt on neck construction with maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, a 22 fret with a classic dot inlays. It comes with the classic V shaped headstock with wings. The pickup sounds aggressive and has a more pronounced low end to midrange. It has a three way selector switch for bridge, neck and the combination of the two. Each pickup has volume and shares a single tone control.
